Traffic Signs & Wheel Stops

Signs and wheel stops finish a parking lot. They tell drivers where to go, keep cars off sidewalks and landscaping, and make accessible parking and fire lanes legal.

Patriot Pavement Markings installs MUTCD-compliant signs and concrete or rubber wheel stops, often in the same visit as striping, so your lot is finished in one trip.

What's Included

Accessible parking signs

Signs with the white-on-blue accessible symbol, "van accessible" signs, and the "no parking" signs Washington requires at access aisles.

Fire lane signs

"No Parking Fire Lane" signs placed to your local fire code.

Traffic and directional signs

Stop, yield, speed limit, one way, do not enter, and other MUTCD-compliant signs.

Posts and mounting

Signs set on sturdy posts at the right height so they can be seen over parked cars.

Wheel stops

Concrete or rubber wheel stops anchored into the pavement to protect sidewalks, buildings and landscaping.

Replacements and resets

Faded, damaged or missing signs replaced, and loose or broken wheel stops reset or replaced.

Signs & Wheel Stops Questions

What does MUTCD-compliant mean?

The MUTCD (Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices) is the national standard for traffic signs and markings. Compliant signs use the standard shapes, colors and symbols drivers already recognize.

What signs does accessible parking need in Washington?

Each accessible space needs a white-on-blue accessible symbol sign at least 60 inches high, van spaces must say "van accessible," and Washington also requires a "no parking" sign at the head of each access aisle. Our ADA & fire lane guide has the details.

Concrete or rubber wheel stops?

Concrete wheel stops are heavy and durable. Rubber wheel stops are lighter, won't chip or crack, and are often easier to install and replace. We'll help you pick what fits your lot.

How much do signs and wheel stops cost?

It depends on how many you need and the type of each. Call or text (564) 266-0744 for a free quote.
